What you´ll do
Serves as a key technical lead and mentor within the packaging team,
recognized as a subject matter expert and providing guidance to co-ops and
junior engineers.
Proactively manages diverse packaging projects across business units,
ensuring alignment with functional goals and timelines.
Designs innovative packaging solutions for safe, attractive, and
functional product transport, including exterior packaging for consumer
appeal and identification.
Develops packaging material standards, engineering drawings, and test
methods; coordinates lab tests and plant trials to qualify new materials
and equipment.
recommends automation and material innovations; supports continuous
improvement initiatives.
Provides technical support across teams and suppliers, ensuring packaging
performance, quality standards, and supply continuity; may oversee
contract packaging activities.
What makes you a good fit
BS in Packaging
Engineering with 3–5 years of hands-on experience leading packaging
projects.
Ability to deliver projects on time and
within budget with minimal oversight; anticipates challenges, adapts
quickly, and maintains momentum through obstacles.
Growing
expertise in packaging systems, materials, and applications; able to solve moderately complex technical issues independently.
Clear and effective communication across all levels, including VP-level presentations; actively
listens and ensures cross-functional alignment.
Works seamlessly with
cross-functional teams, rallies peers around goals, and seeks input to
drive innovation and shared success.
Sets high performance
standards, remains assertive and persistent, and is committed to
excellence in all aspects of project work.

The salary for this role is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 . This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
