The Hershey Company West Hershey plant is a Union plant producing products such as White & Dark Paste, Kisses, Nuggets, Milk Bars, Almond Bars, Rolo & Syrup, in a high-speed complex environment.
Pay :
Starting Pay is $37.95 / hour
- .75 cent per hour shift differential for working 2nd or 3rd shift

The West Hershey Plant of The Hershey Company has immediate openings for Industrial Mechanical Technicians to work in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Primary duties of this position are mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical installation, setup, and repair. Compensation is established on a skill-based pay system.
Required background skills and minimum qualifications shall include :
A minimum of three years experience in the industrial, military, or owner / operator trades environmentThe successful candidate must be able to effectively function in a fast-paced team environmentHigh school diploma or G.E.D.Associates degree in related field or minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment of relevant military experienceMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishMust be flexible to work any shiftMust be available to work weekends, holidays and overtimeMust be authorized to work in the United StatesBasic computer skillsJob related mechanical skills will be assessedPreferred Qualifications :
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferredExperience with Safe Quality Food (SQF) practices is preferredExperience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is preferredExperience with Continuous Improvement methodology is preferredExperience with SAP Maintenance module is preferredPhysical Demands :
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsRegularly required to work around operating equipment, confined spaces, stand, reach, stoop, crawl, walk, climb ladders and bendWorking Conditions :
