We're looking for someone to join our team as a Financial Analyst III who :
The Financial Analyst III is responsible for advanced financial and healthcare data analysis, including corporate and business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), population health data, and demographic trends. This position plays a critical role in strategic financial planning, regulatory reporting, and advanced health analytics. The Analyst serves as a senior resource for cross-departmental reporting, data governance, and business intelligence initiatives. The Financial Analyst III is expected to demonstrate leadership in problem-solving, investigative analysis, and independent decision-making.
Essential Functions :
Serves as a senior team member, providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.Leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of reporting processes and KPI frameworks.Identifies, defines, and drives process improvement opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.Supports the Director of Finance by analyzing and presenting financial and operational data to inform executive leadership’s strategic decision-making.Collaborates with Data Analytics, Reporting, and Process Improvement teams to produce executive-level reporting from data warehouses and operational data stores.Provides subject matter expertise in the use of business intelligence and analytical tools, enabling self-service reporting across the organization.Assists with data collection, validation, analysis methodology, and documentation for financial and operational reporting.Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, modeling, dashboards, and graphs).Designs and validates relational database queries, including advanced multi-step SQL queries.Assists with development and validation of performance metrics and ROI analysis for process improvement projects.Organizes, tracks, and manages multiple work efforts and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of reports and analysis.Coordinates with professionals across the organization, translating complex data into actionable insights.Maintains organizational inventory of KPIs, metrics, operational, and regulatory reporting.Applies advanced report-writing and presentation skills to effectively communicate results to leadership and the Board.Conducts thorough data quality and profiling activities to ensure BI solution outputs are reliable and consistent.Employs advanced data analysis methodologies and visualization techniques for executive reporting and dashboards.Develops predictive and prescriptive analytics models to optimize decision-making and resource allocation.You'll be successful with the following qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting, or analytics, with at least two (2) years in a healthcare setting.Proven expertise in SQL and relational database management; ability to write, optimize, and validate complex queries.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and BI / reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).Strong knowledge of data governance, health care compliance, and regulatory reporting (UDS, HRSA, OMB, etc.).Experience preparing financial analyses for executive leadership and / or Board-level reporting.Demonstrated ability to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Clinica Sierra Vista values human rights, goodwill, respect, inclusivity, equality, and recognizes that the organization derives its strength from a rich diversity of thoughts, ideas, and contributions.
