Project Manager - Luxury Interior Design Firm
OHARA DAVIES-GAETANO INTERIORS , a world class high-end design firm, seeks an efficient, detail oriented, diligent Project Manager with 8-11 years of design firm experience to work alongside our Senior Project Managers and Junior Designers on luxury residential interior design projects at
our Los Angeles, Flathead Lake / MT, and Palm Beach / FL offices.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate effectively with designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers across multiple residential projects
Assist in the preparation and management of client presentations
Lead and provide residential space planning and layout development tailored to client lifestyles and aesthetics
Source new products and materials including furniture, accessories, lighting, window treatments, and paint colors, with a strong understanding of design trends and quality
Oversee and support in pricing all sourced products accurately and maintain up-to-date pricing documentation
Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including full drawing set submissions, specification writing, schedules, and all construction administration tasks
Review all orders to ensure accuracy with client specifications
Verify all aspects of custom products (measurements, hardware, finishes, materials)
Collaborate with the expediter to ensure timely and accurate vendor deliveries
Process RMAs and confirm proper credits to client accounts
Support in ongoing communication with clients, providing regular updates, and arranging installations and deliveries around client schedules
Be available and responsive across time zones to handle any installation issues or urgent needs
Manage and motivate junior designers, promoting collaboration and professional growth
Coordinate with and manage general contractors and specialty trades to ensure construction and installation meet design intent
Oversee warehouse and merchandising coordination to ensure smooth logistics and timely installations
Monitor and maintain budget adherence across all phases of the project
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible and proactive approach to evolving team and client needs.

What Were Looking For :
Education :
4-year degree or equivalent experience
Experience :
4-7 years' experience in interior design
Residential design and space planning expertise
Technical Skills :
Proficient in AutoCAD (preferred)
Familiar with Studio Designer (or similar) and Microsoft Office
Asana (a plus)
Design Skills :
Ability to sketch and space planning abilities
Communication :
Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills
Professional in addressing inquiries and concerns
Organization :
Manages multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail in orders and documentation

Work Schedule :
This is a hybrid position in one of our offices (Not NY). The role requires working on-site 4-days per week and allows for 1 remote workday each week. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating in person with team members while also managing independent tasks remotely.
