Position Overview
The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes. This role requires clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care : Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Medication Administration : Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Patient Education : Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Monitoring : Observe and record patient conditions, vital signs, and progress. Respond promptly to changes in patients' status.
- Collaboration : Work closely with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Documentation : Accurately document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Compliance : Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Emergency Response : Act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations to provide life-saving interventions.
- Training and Mentorship : Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members or nursing students, as needed.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable with relevant experience.Licensure : Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in [state].Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
