Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee the field operations of a high-rise hospitality project in the Orlando area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale vertical construction projects and leading site teams through all phases of the build.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day field operations and site logistics
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes
  • Maintain project schedule and proactively resolve delays
  • Conduct daily site inspections and quality control checks
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, architects, and owners
  • Lead site meetings and provide progress updates
  • Oversee punch list completion and project closeout

Qualifications

  • 810 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Proven experience with high-rise hospitality projects (10+ stories preferred)
  • Strong understanding of structural systems, MEP coordination, and finish sequencing
  • Proficient in scheduling software and construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with block-and-plank or post-tensioned concrete systems
  • Familiarity with Florida building codes and permitting processes
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative site culture
