We are seeking a Sr.
SailPoint Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to provide technical leadership in designing and implementing next-generation IAM solutions.
The role will focus on building secure, automated, and scalable identity services that reduce risk, enhance resiliency, and accelerate mission-critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Engineer and build secure enterprise IAM solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ .
Install, customize, configure, and support IAM tools, including automated provisioning / deprovisioning.
Lead technical design discussions and implement IGA platform enhancements (Beanshell, Java, PowerShell).
Define organizational constructs, naming conventions, and access roles with stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for automation (e.g., onboarding / offboarding) and process improvements via scripting.
Collaborate with IAM, network, and security architects to test, deploy, and optimize IAM solutions.
Support user acceptance testing, bug resolution, and architecture documentation.
Advise stakeholders on IAM best practices and compliance strategies.
Required Qualifications Ability to obtain DHS EOD clearance.
Bachelor’s degree + 10 years’ experience , OR equivalent (AA + 12 years, MA + 3 years, or 16 years total experience).
Strong background in SailPoint IdentityIQ implementation and administration.
Proficiency in developing and configuring application connectors.
Experience providing RBAC solutions for cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
Strong scripting / automation skills in JavaScript, XML, BeanShell, PowerShell, or Python.
Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) .
Experience in cloud-first environments, preferably Azure.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Git, JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications IdentityIQ Engineering Certification .
Experience documenting technical architectures.
Prior experience in government or highly regulated environments.
