Travel Adolescent Behavioral Health RN

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating Shifts : Days / Nights, Every Other Weekend, 3x12s.

Job Description

The Travel Adolescent Behavioral Health RN is responsible for providing nursing care to patients aged 14-17 within an inpatient psychiatric setting. This role includes floating to Geriatric and Adult Behavioral Health units as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinical and other activities in assigned units.
  • Implement the philosophy, goals, and standards of the Department of Nursing.
  • Formulate and monitor capital, personnel, and operating budgets.
  • Direct staffing and scheduling of personnel.
  • Supervise employees in the delivery of care.
  • Plan and coordinate orientation and educational needs of staff.
  • Maintain good working relationships with other disciplines.
  • Promote positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Inpatient Adolescent psychiatric experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • De-escalation training / certification required; can attend SAFE Training Course onsite if needed.
