Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Must have CHARGE RN experience

    • \n

  • Work in Short Stay / Pre Post Op unit with day shift hours starting at 5 : 00 AM or 6 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Choose between 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 3

    • \n

  • On call every 4-7 weekends plus one day during the week and holidays

    • \n

  • Guaranteed 32 hours per week

    • \n

  • Work with 12 beds in Out-Patient Unit and 4 Holding Room Bays for Pre Op surgical cases

    • \n

  • Same Day Discharge Unit has 6 beds

    • \n

  • Handle pre op for all surgical, cath lab and IR patients

    • \n

  • Perform blood transfusions and phase II recovery

    • \n

  • Work with vital signs equipment and stretchers

    • \n

  • Use Meditech EMR system

    • \n

  • May float to PACU as needed

    • \n

  • Dress code includes facility-provided scrubs or navy blue attire

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

The facility maintains a 22-bed capacity including outpatient units, holding room bays, and same-day discharge beds. The organization focuses on surgical support services, catheterization lab procedures, and interventional radiology services, offering phase II recovery and blood transfusion capabilities to ensure quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.
