Overview

POSITION SUMMARY : The primary function of this position is to provide quality customer service both internally and externally, supporting custom orders with the goal of exceeding each customers expectations no matter how large or small the request.

Responsibilities

  • Manage orders by reviewing each customer’s order proofs, processing the customer’s noted revisions, following up with the customer as needed, and moving their order to the next status.
  • Follow assigned orders from creation to completion while meeting competing deadlines.
  • Review and fix templates for quality assurance and technical standards, as well as problem-solving for best online customer experience.
  • Utilize software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to ensure projects meet both our customers’ expectations and internal print specifications.
  • Work in a professional manner with internal departments to fulfill customers’ needs.
  • As time allows, work with Product Development to create / assist with new products / product projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Must be proficient and demonstrate expert knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator (CS5 and Cloud preferred) - PC based.
  • Show the initiative and skillset to quickly learn processes in a hands-on training environment.
  • Adept at multitasking and quick problem solving while turning projects around quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Keen eye for visually pleasing layout and design.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Proactive self-starter who is resilient to changing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written; speak and write proficiently in English.

    • Education and Experience

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • 3 years of related experience.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Located in the Arden Hills, MN office.
