WHAT THIS JOB IS LIKE

• Flexible weekday hours . Hours available between 10am and 8pm. Work a schedule that works for you!
• Meaningful work that matters . As a Direct Support Professional, you support adults with disabilities both in MSS centers and out in the community.
• Assist with community participation. This may include : safely getting in and around the community, community resource use and access, informal support system and network development, interpersonal communication skills, recreation / socialization planning, and skill building to meet transportation needs.
• Personal and Self-Care Skills . Assist with health, safety, and wellness which may include : collaboration with the person to arrange appointments, providing support, supervision, training or instruction to complete self-care, and support for the person to reach their health, safety, and wellness goals.
