Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of immigration procedure experience required. Extensive experience with the following : L-1A / B, H-1B, H-1B1, TN and O-1 visa petitions, and employment based permanent resident petitions and applications required. Immigration work experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry preferred. The position will require the Legal Specialist to provide guidance on different visa applications, change of status petitions, and permanent resident petitions and applications to management and employees. The ideal candidate will create processes to ensure fast and accurate preparation of supporting documents and petitions / applications. The ideal candidate will maintain status charts and be able to create reports periodically. The position will require the performance of internal audits of employment authorization for employees as well as other USCIS and DOL required record keeping. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and under tight deadlines. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be attentive to detail; office organization and management experience, as required, with preferred experience in a legal setting.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage team of paralegals.
• Manage PERM Program.
• Manage Blanket L-1 Program.
• Handle all work visa / work status queries.
• Manage work of outside immigration counsel.
• Manage Deemed Export Licensing Program.
• Workdays & Hours : M-F, 1st Shift (8 am - 5 pm)

Skills and Qualifications

The current base salary range for this role is between $138,026 and $200,665. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
