Vixxo is seeking a full-time Senior Financial Analyst out of the Colwich office.

Position Summary

The Sr. Financial Analyst leads and coordinates financial forecasting analysis and reporting for Vixxo's Retail Business Unit. This position will partner with Retail Business Unit leaders to provide accurate, data supported annual and quarterly forecasts, including an independent assessment of risks and opportunities to the committed Forecast. Monthly analysis will be insightful and relatable to the Retail Business Unit Leader allowing the Team to drive actions to improve the financial performance of the Retail Business Unit. The Sr Financial Analyst will be responsible for full management of the Income statement, including revenue, cost of goods sold and operating expenses. The measurable outcomes for this position will be improved gross margin, lower operating expenses and profitable growth for the Retail Business Unit, and providing process and financial improvements to the broader FP&A team.

While this position reports to the VP Corporate Finance, the Sr Financial Analyst is also part of the Retail Business Unit Leadership team participating in key weekly and monthly meetings, as well as being located with this Team. The Sr Financial Analyst will also collaborate with other FP&A groups to share best practice and ensure consistency in financial analysis and reporting.

Additionally this position will be involved in ad hoc projects and financial analysis as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of monthly Retail Business Unit Income statement, generating relatable insights for Business leaders to drive improvements in Financial results, specifically higher gross margin, lower operating expense and profitable growth. This analysis will be reviewed at Vixxo Monthly Financial Review.
• Partner with Business Unit Operations Leader to deliver a robust monthly business process to drive gross margin improvement, including structure to review actions and drive consistent progress.
• Lead quarterly and annual financial forecasting process in partnership with Retail Business Unit Leader. Collaborate with Corporate FP&A to achieve timetable and consistent review materials for executive reviews.
• FP&A process improvement, generate innovative ideas and collaborate with other FP&A groups to drive continuous improvement in financial forecasting accuracy and processes.
• Assist in long range financial planning model, Capex, Balance sheet and cash flow budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
