Position Overview

The Production Line Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production line equipment to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. This role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime and achieve production goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up, operate, and monitor production line equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Inspect products for quality standards and remove defective items from the line.

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment.

Troubleshoot machinery issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance staff.

Accurately record production data, including output, downtime, and quality checks.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.

Assist in equipment changeovers and adjustments for different product runs.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred).

Previous experience in manufacturing or production line operations.

Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and follow work instructions, manuals, and diagrams.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with automated or semi-automated machinery.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

Forklift or equipment operation certification.
