Manufacturing Supervisor | Up to $43 / hour | Day Shift

What Matters Most

  • Up to $43 / hour based on experience and qualifications
  • 7 : 00am – 3 : 30pm, with 4–8 hours of overtime per week
  • Dayton, Ohio
  • Temporary / Contract Role — Project-based, approximately 10 weeks (10 / 27 / 2025 – 01 / 04 / 2026)
  • Full-time schedule with immediate start available

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will oversee daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations to ensure smooth, efficient processes. You’ll be responsible for supervising warehouse, maintenance, and production personnel while managing logistics, inventory control, and equipment disassembly. This short-term assignment plays a key role in maintaining safety, accuracy, and workflow continuity during a facility relocation project.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse, maintenance, and production personnel in daily operations
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities
  • Manage stock transfers, system transactions, and equipment relocation
  • Ensure accurate and timely staging and picking of materials for relocation
  • Conduct and oversee cycle count activities per company procedures
  • Communicate stock discrepancies and coordinate with planning personnel
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Manage bar-code systems and ensure proper use by warehouse staff
  • Support logistics for plant equipment disassembly and movement
  • Perform other supervisory duties as directed by management
  • Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing or warehousing
  • Experience managing a union workforce is required
  • 3–5 years of shipping, receiving, and inventory experience
  • JD Edwards ERP experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Experience with continuous process improvement
  • Experience relocating a warehouse or manufacturing facility is a plus
  • Must be immediately available to start
