Emergency Medicine Physician

Specialty : Board Certified / Board Eligible Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine with 3 years of current ER experience

Client : VAMC

Location : Memphis, TN

Dates coverage is needed : ASAP ongoing (5 year contract, schedule is currently made 1 month in advance, working on getting that pushed out to 3 months)

Schedule / Shifts Times : 10 hour shifts (11am 9pm and 6pm 4am)

Call Requirements : None

Patient Volume : 1 2 patients per hour

Patient Ages : adults

Types of Cases : Emergency cases (no major cases, heart attacks, strokes, trauma will get routed to local Hospital or stabilized and shipped to local Hospital with higher level of care)

Type of Charting : EMR CPRS (VAMC proprietary system)

Requirements : BLS, ACLS, DEA

Reason for Need : staff shortage

Credentialing Timeframe : 6-8 weeks on average
