Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with a KY or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience for a hospital assignment with on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities Position is based in a hospital Cath Lab Work schedule consists of day shifts from 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm, five 8-hour shifts per week Patient ratios are 1 : 1 in the procedure room and 1 : 3-4 in pre / post areas Assignment is 13 weeks in duration On-call rotation is required, usually every 3rd or 4th weekend, with 1-2 night calls per week Must remain within 30 minutes of the facility while on call No floating outside of Cath Lab duties is required Meditech EMR experience is preferred Provide nursing care and support during interventional cardiac procedures Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to urgent cases Adhere to strict infection prevention guidelines, including flu vaccination compliance Scrubs must be worn in accordance with hospital policy Requirements Active KY or compact state RN license required Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required (AHA accepted only) Some experience with Impella is preferred Flu vaccination is required, with no exemptions allowed Must live at least 65 miles from the facility to be eligible First-time travelers are accepted, though previous travel experience is preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621942.
