Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Suffolk County, NY.

Locations & Shifts :

Shoreham : Saturday - Wednesday 0000 - 0800  Payrate : $19.00 / hr.

Shoreham : Monday, Tuesday 1600-0000 & Saturday, Sunday 0800 -1600  Payrate : $19.00 / hr.

Shoreham : Friday - Sunday 1730 - 0630  Payrate : $18.00 / hr.

UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :

  • Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
  • Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
  • Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS :

  • High School Diploma / GED required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle.
  • 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
  • Valid NYS Security Guard License.
  • Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
  • Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
