Overview

Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing assignments of compensation and classification activities for a defined set of client units (colleges, schools, and / or administrative organizations). Serve as the main point of contact for consultations, reviews, and approvals of requests for a specific set of clients.
  • Administer staff compensation programs (union represented and non-represented), including job classification reviews and determinations.
  • Evaluate base pay and ensure alignment with UC and UCR pay practices and applicable State / Federal laws.
  • Conduct market and data analysis for job families and individual jobs.
  • Under direction, manage and coordinate HRMS updates for classifications, salary ranges, and job descriptions to ensure campus-wide data accuracy and smooth system / process usage.

Salary and Benefits

The full salary range for the Compensation & HRMS Specialist is $68,500 - $121,900 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $110,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a variety of considerations, including education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Current work authorization to accept a UCR staff position. We are currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for staff.
  • Ability to comply with all applicable University policies and / or collective bargaining agreements; as amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local directives may impose additional requirements.
