Remote Accountant

A company is looking for an Accountant to perform moderately complex professional accounting work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements, regulatory filings, and conduct financial analyses

Ensure timely and accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger

Collaborate with auditors and assist with budget activities and accounting-related tasks

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field, or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience in an accounting environment

2+ years of experience with accounting and auditing principles, including GAAP and statutory accounting

Clean credit history as reported by credit report

Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in job duties
