Description

This is a UI / UX Design position. Candidates in this position shall be responsible for crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications. In this role, the UI / UX designer shall be responsible for the visual layout, styling of web pages, making key decisions in color, typography, and iconography in component design.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret / SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Requirements

Required skills :

• Basic understanding using the Linux CLI
• Proven experience as a UI / UX Designer
• Proficiency using UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
• Strong understanding of UI layout principles, design systems, responsive design principles and concepts
• Solid understanding of color theory, typography, iconography, and visual hierarchy
• Familiarity with the Gestalt laws of perceptual organization
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and CSS
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI / UX design artifacts

Desired skills

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence); Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $213,000 - $233,000.
