Role : Server
Reports to : General Manager, Assistant General Manager and Floor Manager
Primary Responsibilities :
- Cultivate meaningful interactions with new and returning guests to build rapport.
- Maintain efficient and friendly service standards while delivering a memorable dining experience to each guest.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including daily specials, allergens, and dietary restrictions.
- Offer order suggestions and answer guests' questions.
- Take food and beverage orders and input them accurately into the POS system.
- Communicate with other departments about specific guest requests and table needs
- Ensure complete execution of and adherence to proper allergy procedure.
- Verify guest identification and managing age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Efficient use of the POS system to take orders and manage transactions.
- Process payment transactions efficiently and accurately including following accurate cash handling procedures
- Keep the dining area neat and pleasant throughout service
- Follow proper tray-handling procedures for drink running
Additional Responsibilities :
Assisting in the training and supervision of support staff.Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of the dining room area and equipment.Adhere to all company policies and health code regulations.Participate in the inventory management and restocking of bar supplies.Handle guest inquiries and requests courteously and efficiently.Follow and execute all side work lists provided by the company.Assist team members as needed.Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.Requirements :
