Job Summary
As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to our seniors in long-term care. Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), your responsibilities will include :
Delivering age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of residents as per their care plans.Assisting residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and dining.Obtaining and recording vital signs.Providing support for mobility, transfers, and exercises.Working with nursing staff to document interactions and changes in residents' conditions.Engaging residents in wellness and recreational programs.Qualifications
High school graduate or GED preferred.Must be at least 16 years of age.Prior experience in long-term care is an advantage.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing required, or state certified within four months of hire.Must complete yearly competency testing and continuing education, with a minimum of 12 hours required annually.Benefits
