The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students nationwide with online College Economics tutors. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students' learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor online via the Live Learning Platform and provide personalized instruction to College Economics students.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you'd like; be matched with students who fit your teaching style and expertise.
  • Invoicing and payments are handled by Varsity Tutors; you invoice for tutoring sessions conducted.
  • Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and focus on teaching.
  • Help students achieve their learning goals through customized instruction and adaptable teaching approaches.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in College Economics and ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
