Job Summary

The College of Science and Technology at Savannah State University is seeking part-time faculty applications for 2025-2026 academic to teach day, evening or weekend classes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and communicate instruction in ways that encourage and stimulate student learning
  • Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies that facilitate and promote student success
  • Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with college and university policies
  • Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
  • Submit immediate alerts in EAB when students are at risk
  • Submit mid-term and final grade reports by the set University deadlines as well as completed course assessment forms at the end of each semester
  • Maintain professional ism and confidentiality in regards to student interaction and information
  • Comply with all university academic policies

Required Qualifications

Master¿s degree in a STEM field with 18 credit hours in one of the aforementioned subject areas.

Prior teaching experience is preferred.
