job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCollects blood specimens skillfully and safely from patients of all ages. Prepares specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols. Verifies and labels patient demographic information accurately at the time of draw. Maintains all necessary documentation and records with precision. Upholds a safe and professional working environment. Travels to and covers other Patient Service Centers / In-Office Phlebotomy locations as needed. Adheres to all company policies, including dress code and safety guidelines. Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills. Participates in training at various locations depending on trainer availability. 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable). Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Must have reliable transportation. 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment. Prior customer service experience in a retail or healthcare setting. Experience with keyboarding and data entry. Excellent phlebotomy skills (pediatric and geriatric) Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments Customer-focused communication Organizational and multitasking ability Flexibility for schedule changes and travel Knowledge of clinical specimen protocols Familiarity with healthcare safety and confidentiality practices Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred) Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere) Leadership behaviors and adaptability Process excellence focus Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR II) is a key frontline role representing the company to patients seeking laboratory services.
