job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises. Perform security-related procedures in alignment with site-specific policies and protocols. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by assisting with inquiries and directing them as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access. Document security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to company and client protocols. Support emergency response activities in accordance with established procedures, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and site contacts. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A minimum of two years of security-related experience is required. Access control and / or badge system experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Access Control Monitoring in Lewisville, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent location in the financial sector, you will monitor access points and oversee badge control to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and offering outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
