Expand Energy is hiring for the Roughneck position for our field operations team located in one of the following : Ohio, West Virginia, or Louisiana. As a Roughneck you are responsible for performing various manual labor tasks associated with the safe and efficient operation of a rig site under the direct supervision of the Driller.

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

• Perform rig up and rig down activities as assigned
• Perform "nippling up" or "nippling-down" of all rig equipment
• Perform general repairs and maintenance on major and minor rig components
• Conduct assigned activities on the rig floor
• Assist the (Assistant Driller) Derrickman with mud-mixing duties
• Perform emergency procedures
• Ensures that work carried out is in compliance with company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations
• Follow oral or written instructions to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Interact with others in a team environment
• Have frequent contact with drilling personnel to give and exchange information

Job Specific Skills :

Education & Experience :

Minimum : High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent is required

Minimum : 0 - 6+ years related experience

Minimum training requirements : Health, Safety and Environment Orientation and Rig Specific Start Up Training

Additional Qualifications :

You will be required to pass all pre-employment requirements including a physical demands, vision, and drug-screening test along with a thorough background and driving record check
