Job Summary :

Alliance Group is seeking full-time Warehouse and Delivery Specialist Associate in South Burlington, VT to join our growing Install team.

This position is responsible for delivery driving, the warehouse / shop, and shipping and receiving operations, all playing a crucial role in logistics, inventory management, and customer services. This individual must safely operate vehicle(s) to efficiently move goods and materials from the warehouse to other locations and ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Individuals must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods, pick and pack orders, and ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition.
  • Inspect deliveries for damaged or missing items
  • Verify orders and label deliveries with the correct information
  • Manage the inventory of tools and equipment, including tool tracking, signing in and out of tools, maintenance / repair of tools, delivery of tools to repair shop if necessary, and organization of tool crib
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the proper storage of items.
  • Update records of incoming and outgoing items, track inventory levels, and maintain accurate logs
  • Coordinate with job / project site foreman for deliveries and pick-ups as needed during the day
  • Safely use machinery like forklifts, Aerial Work Platform Manlifts, and other material handling items
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations, including the proper handling materials and use of equipment
  • Adhere to designated routes and schedules
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on their vehicles and report defects or issues to management
  • Wear and maintain all required safety equipment (PPE) always
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Adapt to changing work conditions to complete given tasks

Essential Qualifications and Competencies

  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Must be a safe, skilled driver
  • Possess the ability to maneuver in tight spaces and navigate busy unloading areas with a variety of vehicles and trailers
  • Must possess good knowledge of the local area and roads
  • 1 year of data management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Build-Ops platform desired
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently
  • High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion, and integrity
  • Must possess proactive, positive problem-solving skills
  • Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team play
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Must maintain a company vehicle
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
  • U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
  • Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
  • A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.
