As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Government in Henderson, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, staying highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all individuals on site. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Thur 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 00 AM - 07 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 45 AM - 05 : 45 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and check identification to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency services as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
