A Day in the Office Looks Like This :
This role offers training and development opportunities leading to a potential career path within the firm. The Junior Interior Designer supports the Interior Design Studio in all project phases, working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Supports project administration, schematic design, design development, and contract documentation under supervision
Manages project schedules and budgets to ensure timely delivery and scope management
Develops cohesive interior finish, fixture, furniture, and accessory solutions within budget and lead times
Assists with computer-aided design production, finish plans, specifications, and material selections
Prepares client presentations and participates in meetings with clients and contractors
Collaborates with vendors and contractors to select appropriate interior products
Coordinates FF&E issues including budgeting, sourcing, and tracking
Maintains digital and physical resources, including finish libraries and contact databases
Follows established interior design standards

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory duties.
Work Environment
Indoor office setting. Hours are 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM Central, Monday to Friday. Some after-hours or weekend work may be required for project deadlines. Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be necessary.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, sit, stand, walk, operate a keyboard, and communicate effectively in person and via phone or written communication.
Work Authorization Requirement
Must be authorized to work in the US. All new hires must verify identity and eligibility and complete Form I-9.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
Licensure is preferred but not required
3-6 years of professional experience
Experience with high-end residential or luxury projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Experience with SketchUp and Studio Webware is a plus
Strong technical detailing and sketching skills
