Safety Manager I or II (Renewables Construction - Nationwide Opportunities!). Join the movement to power a cleaner future. As a Safety Manager you will be responsible for participating in the planning, organizing, and implementing the company's Safety Program at construction projects while ensuring compliance with federal, state and corporate environmental, health and safety regulations.
Location & Travel Details : You'll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build renewable projects. This is a traveling position (up to 100%), where you will be onsite at a project location. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. You'll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated daily per diem in addition to base pay to support living expenses. A vehicle will be provided. This position is eligible for routine travel home (rotation) from the jobsite.

Responsibilities
- Lead the job site safety department under EHS Leadership, directly supervising Safety Managers, Coordinators, and Specialists. Set ethical standards and support company beliefs while maintaining trust and communication.
- Conduct workplace safety checks, document actions in daily reports, complete required site safety inspections, and execute the Safety Program as reflected in project safety scorecards. Implement the Zero Injury System and R4 Program, monitoring results.
- Assist in writing and organizing jobsite safety plans, review Pre-Task Plans for continuous improvement, and collaborate with the Site Production Manager to develop and maintain site-specific safety and environmental plans. Manage the injury management program and establish relationships with local physicians.
- Coordinate safety training (New Hire Orientation, Fall Protection, Lockout / Tagout, etc.), attend weekly safety meetings, participate in the R4 Safety Committee, and lead investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Maintain communication with clients on safety matters, participate in site inspections and compliance testing for permits, coordinate with Corporate Safety on training needs, injury management, and OSHA reporting. Administer the drug and alcohol policy and manage site first aid supplies.
- Create notices of noncompliance and ensure understanding of environmental regulations. Invest in enhancing apprentices' skills and provide a positive coaching environment. Spend 60% of time in the field and perform other assigned duties.
