Long Term Care Experience : 6 months preferred, 3 months required.Scheduling Requirements
Minimum of 30 hours per month.One weekend shift per month.Job Summary
As a Nursing Assistant (NA) , you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include :
Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).Providing age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents.Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.Facilitating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse.Supporting wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation.Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.Minimum of 18 years of age.Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of starting.Completion of yearly department-specific competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours annually).For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be required.Must possess a valid driver’s license and be medically qualified to perform driving functions if applicable.Benefits
