Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVICU

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Provide direct patient care to medical / surgical / cardiovascular patients requiring advanced monitoring

    • \n

  • Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, A-lines, multiple IVs, balloon pumps, and Impella pumps

    • \n

  • Care for patients requiring ventilation support or continuous renal replacement therapy

    • \n

  • Provide care for general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit

    • \n

  • Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision

    • \n

  • Act as clinical leader and assist with precepting staff

    • \n

  • Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge including discharge planning

    • \n

  • Give direction to RN, LPN, CNA, housekeeping staff, and dietary staff

    • \n

  • Receive direction from providers, charge nurse, acute care director, and chief nursing officer

    • \n

  • Willing to care for PCU and medical surgical patients when no ICU / CVICU patients are in house

    • \n

  • Position classified as rapid response crisis staffing need
