As a Security Officer - Transportation Mobile Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations to help create a secure environment for everyone onsite. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible. In this role, you will also engage with the public, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities. Monitor the site for unusual or suspicious activity and promptly communicate findings to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or credentials as required within the transportation environment. Document all incidents, observations, and interactions according to Allied Universal and client site guidelines. Support a positive environment by assisting employees, visitors, and / or passengers with inquiries and providing directions or information as needed.

Minimum Requirements : Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Proficiency with using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Willingness to work at locations with limited on-site facilities is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
