Engineering Geologist - Project Manager

Overview

Engineering Geologist Project Manager with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). You will be responsible for managing current clients and developing new business, as well as managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and providing senior direction on a variety of projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee geological and geotechnical site investigations to assess ground conditions
• Analyze soil, rock, groundwater, and other geologic data to determine their impact on engineering projects
• Prepare geological maps, cross-sections, and reports for project planning and design
• Advise on the suitability of sites for various construction projects based on geological findings
• Develop risk assessments related to geological hazards like landslides, earthquakes, and subsidence
• Monitor and interpret data from field investigations and laboratory tests
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide geotechnical recommendations
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and planners to incorporate geological data into project designs
• Review and interpret geological data for planning and environmental compliance
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in geological engineering and geology
