Texas Standard is Texas’s clothing brand for gentlemen, born to bring Texans quality gear of their own while giving back to the state it calls home. We are seeking a Wholesale Sales Associate to support our rapidly growing wholesale business, with a focus on cultivating long-term partnerships and driving substantial account growth. As a key member of our lean team, this position offers the unique opportunity to gain valuable experience across all facets of the business and collaborate directly with company leadership. This role requires a candidate to be located in Austin, Texas, with a willingness to travel as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Strategically expand Texas Standard's presence within specialty retail stores by building and nurturing outstanding relationships with current and prospective wholesale accounts.
- Identify, pitch, and secure new retail partners, ensuring alignment with the Texas Standard wholesale strategy and brand vision.
- Oversee and conduct regular in-store visits and events, guiding visual merchandising and inventory management to optimize sales performance.
- Direct and execute road work necessary for the development and support of existing and prospective accounts.
- Manage all pertinent regional trade shows within the assigned territory, from planning to execution, to maximize brand exposure and sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of market trends, conduct comprehensive competitor analysis, and identify product development opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and present quarterly hindsight recaps and detailed sales reporting, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of end-to-end wholesale operations, including sales, business results, comprehensive account management, exceptional customer service, wholesale marketing initiatives, and efficient operational processes.
