Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of acute care or adult rehab experience for a day shift assignment in an acute care hospital setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care hospital and rehab unit
  • Patient population includes geriatrics, orthopedics, and pediatrics
  • Day shift schedule : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week
  • Some Saturday shifts required—4 Saturdays per 13-week contract
  • Meditech is used for charting; Epic experience preferred but not required, with training provided during orientation
  • Responsibilities include carrying out physical therapy evaluation and treatment for diverse patient populations
  • Open to both local candidates and first-time travelers
  • References are required for consideration
  • Requests for time off must be submitted with application

  • Current KS physical therapy license required (license required if applicable)
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in an acute care or adult rehab facility
  • Current BLS certification is required
  • Experience with Meditech or Epic charting preferred
