A company is looking for an Investment Accountant responsible for managing the accounting, reporting, and analysis of the investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review statutory and GAAP financial statements for investments, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines
Coordinate with external auditors and state insurance regulators on investment-related inquiries and filings
Utilize Clearwater Analytics for investment portfolio management, including aggregation, reconciliation, and compliance monitoring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in investment accounting
Experience with life insurance SAP and NAIC annual statement preparation (preferred)
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting and investment management systems
CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications (preferred)
