Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele position requiring a current WI or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Med / Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Care for adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring needs
  • Use of telemetry monitoring equipment in patient care
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred
  • Must complete online modules within the first 8 hours of orientation, averaging 3-4 hours
  • Candidates who have worked at the facility must have at least a 1-year gap before returning as a traveler
  • RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed with application for consideration
  • Travel pairs are accepted for this assignment
  • Locals are accepted at a lower pay rate

    • Requirements

  • Active WI or compact RN license in hand required for consideration
  • Two supervisor references are required after offer, with at least one from the most recent assignment or perm position if experienced in ICU, IMCU, Med Surg, ED, or Birthing
  • Experience in Med / Surg Tele preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must not have a latex allergy as accommodations cannot be made
  • Must reside at least 50 miles away to qualify for travel pay rate
