Related Affordable is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to support the daily operations of a 242-unit affordable housing community in St. Louis, Missouri.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Community Manager to maintain a welcoming environment for residents, handling administrative tasks, resident relations, and ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing leasing activities, marketing efforts, resident recertifications, and general administrative duties to ensure efficient community operations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, aid in rent collection, and assist in managing delinquencies to maintain the financial health of the community.
- Address resident concerns promptly and professionally, foster a positive living environment, and assist in organizing resident appreciation and retention events.
- Ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements (e.g., HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC) by maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance audits.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely, high-quality property upkeep and a safe, pleasant living environment.
- Assist in preparing reports to monitor community performance and identify areas for improvement.
Compensation
$23.00 - $25.00 / hourAnnual Performance BonusCompensation is dependent on qualifications and location. Final offers are based on a comprehensive assessment of the candidate's background and role requirements.

Minimum of 2 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housingFamiliarity with affordable housing programs (e.g., Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC) and complianceExperience with RealPage, OneSite, and JD Edwards (or similar PM software)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with commitment to customer serviceProactive, problem-solving mindset and passion for creating great living experiencesAbility to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive issues professionallyAccountability, reliability, attention to detail, collaborative approach, and resident-centered mindsetAbout Related Affordable
