AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Catering Supervisor in Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH . This is a Full-Time position.

Duties & Responsibilities :
- Receive catering orders and coordinate service with individual customers; work with the customer for planning of the event, ensure accurate cost effective pricing
- Ensure preparation, delivery, and display of hot and cold catering and / other prepared items are completed
- Schedule team members to ensure appropriate coverage and service for events
- Maintain budget in all financial areas including food, labor, and other operating costs
- Ensure high quality products and service
- Follow up on all catered events
- Work with management team regarding menu concepts and special events
- Professionally engage with individuals at all levels at the account
- Oversee the care and operation of delivery vehicles
- Coordinates and oversees the work of the catering team members
- Hands on assistance for all catered events
- Prepare pre-event and clean-up checklists
- Assists with the preparation of pre-event and clean-up
- Communicates with Managers, Chefs and other team members to ensure high quality products and service
- Monitors care and operation of delivery vehicles
- Monitors team member job performance
- Financial management of catering activities through effective food, labor and supply controls
- Other duties as required and assigned
- Understands and uses CaterTrax
Requirements :
2 or more years of operational management experience in the catering fieldKnowledge of online catering modules preferredExceptional interpersonal skills and decision making abilityThe ability to lead, supervise, train and coordinate the catering teamWillingness and availability to work a flexible scheduleOperational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipmentServSafe Certification preferredProfessional imageAbility to read, write and perform basic mathAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsExceptional interpersonal skills and decision making abilityAbility to lead, supervise, train and coordinate activities of othersAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights and week endsHigh standard of personal hygieneOne to three years catering / supervisory experienceOperational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipmentProficient computer skills – word and excel.Possess a valid Driver’s LicenseAdditional Requirements :
Working in the dish room as needed.Assisting stations in the dining hall as needed.Working any, and all positions as needed during the summer months if you are a non-academic (year-round) team member.Full time / non-academic team members will be required to help with any and all positions during the summer months to secure employment. This can include working utility, serving, helping in the kitchen, catering, large cleaning projects, etc.Complete trainings in ADP as assignedBenefits :
