Job Title : Senior Fp&A & Costing Analyst

Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Costing Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining the costing for our internally developed software products as well as third-party applications used by our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of various software cost elements, including cloud costs, IT infrastructure costs, software development costs, and third-party software licenses. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong grasp of costing concepts related to capacity and utilization to obtain cost per unit. This role is a key contributor to software margin analysis and corresponding business strategies and a contributor to our planning processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze and determine the costing for internal software products, focusing on cloud costs, IT infrastructure costs, and third-party software license costs.
• Develop and maintain cost models to support pricing and financial planning for major software services.
• Understand and apply accounting treatments for software license costs, SaaS costs and prepaid maintenance contracts to reflect in costing models accordingly.
• Analyze capacity and utilization to determine cost per unit and provide insights for cost optimization.
• Provide cost input and details for scenario analysis and pricing.
• Determine gross cost for internally developed software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial and operational data.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
• Assist in the annual budget and monthly forecast process.
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare presentations and present to the Senior Leadership team.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

The Compensation range for this role is $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Your specific salary will be determined based on several factors : location-based market rate for the role, your abilities in relation to the job specification, performance during screening and interview, pay parity with the wider team in the considered location. Further details about the package will be provided during the initial screening call with the Talent Acquisition Team.
