BVK is seeking an experienced Associate Media Director. The Associate Media Director is accountable for media strategy development, output timeliness, accuracy, and overall excellence for a selection of clients within our core key verticals : tourism, healthcare, higher education, B2B, and CPG. This position will contribute to the process of strategic media planning, including audiences, channel selection, and ad tech to deliver on strategy. The Associate Media Director will also serve as an advice and counsel resource for the strategy and implementation teams.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate ability to utilize resources to help guide clients’ marketing goals in their respective markets (syndicated, proprietary, analyst data)
- Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for the client’s media strategies
- Provide and discuss industry information on media, markets, and related dynamics
- Maintain relationships with the media and ad tech community; continue to develop publisher and higher relationships for the exchange of ideas
- Build and maintain trusting, collaborative relationships with clients at appropriate levels
- Manage expectations of clients and deliverables
- Accurately represent the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to the team, and presenting tothe client
- Identify opportunities to offer other agency services and capabilities that are not on retainer to existing clients
- Grow business opportunities within current clients, where appropriate
- Participate and present in New Business efforts and presentations, where appropriate
- Capable of effectively managing up and down the reporting structure
- Provide and / or guide strategic input for all plans internally and externally
- Demonstrate problem-solving and intervention when necessary
- Guide and assist staff to arrive at potential solutions to problems / issues
- Train, motivate, and develop within the media group
- Construct and deliver accurate, honest, and timely performance management documents
- Establish and maintaina communications process with clients, digital and offline media teams, etc., for each piece of business within the team
- Direct the development of client presentations and other important communication that is clear, compelling, and persuasive
- Communicate key information about our company
Qualifications :
