The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall success and operational performance of a Wendy's restaurant. Skills and qualifications include at least two years of management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a strong background in operations, staff management, and customer service. Experience in a fast-casual or quick-service restaurant is highly preferred. Leadership, customer service, financial acumen, problem solving, communication, organization, and attention to detail are also required.
Job requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level, walk up and down stairs, occasional sitting, talking, and active listening, lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, move around the kitchen quickly and efficiently, and comply with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Work environment / job conditions include flexible scheduling, working in a loud, fast-paced environment, varying temperature zones, exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals, proper personal protective equipment, awareness of temperature fluctuations, safe practices, job duties spanning both indoor and outdoor settings, and awareness of potential hazards.
