About The Position

Job Title : Electrophysiology Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10 (06 : 30 - 17 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 2 years required. First-timers accepted.

License : State License required prior to start.

Certifications : BLS, ARRT, RCIS / CCI required.

Description :

Electrophysiology Technologist responsibilities include assisting with EP lab procedures.

The role involves scrubbing and monitoring electrophysiology ablation procedures.

Candidates should have experience utilizing Medtronic and Boston Scientific PFA mapping systems.

Experience using CLARIS workstation is preferred.

The position requires skills in cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.

Candidates must be capable of recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias.

The role includes pacemaker insertion and maintaining a sterile field during procedures.

Ideal candidates will be willing to teach and support other team members.

Additional responsibilities may include room circulation and ensuring isolation precautions are in place.

The work environment primarily includes an electrophysiology lab.

Patient demographics involve adult patients.

Daily census is approximately 6 patients with 2 procedure rooms available.

Weekend and holiday coverage is not required for this position.

Candidates will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality patient care.

The position emphasizes a commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field of electrophysiology.
