Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Robotic Laser Weld Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our robotic laser welding systems to produce high-quality, precision-welded components. This role requires a strong understanding of robotic systems, laser welding processes, and quality control procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
Set up and operate robotic laser welding cells according to work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.
Perform in-process inspections using visual aids, micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on robotic welding equipment, including cleaning lenses, checking gas levels, and replacing consumables.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as laser safety glasses.
Required Qualifications :
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent. A technical degree or certification in robotics, welding, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a welding operator, preferably with robotic or automated systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for extended periods.
