About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Tech

Certifications : BLS, NBSTSA

Must-Have :

• Open heart surgical experience
• Ability to scrub independently for open hearts, valves, and lungs
• Experience with CABG

Description :

The position is for a CVOR Tech specializing in surgical services.

The average case volume is 25 surgical cases per day.

There are a total of 9 operating rooms.

Weekends are required every other week.

On-call duty is required once per week and approximately every sixth weekend.

The clinician cannot float within the scope to meet facility needs.

This position involves working with adult and geriatric patients.

The daily census is subject to change based on case load.

Special procedures performed include CABG and valve replacement surgeries.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in aseptic technique, specimen handling, and sterilization / disinfection.

Experience with angioplasty / stenting and endovascular aortic repair is preferred.

All travelers must comply with specific charting systems and protocols.

References are preferred at the time of application.

Candidates must have BLS certification and be prepared for ongoing education and compliance requirements.
