Compensation

The pay for this position is $20 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Position Highlights

Fully remote – never required onsite

Training runs 11 / 10 / 2025 – 12 / 30 / 2025 , Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM CST

No training on 11 / 27 and 12 / 25

After training, schedules will be assigned based on business needs and remain consistent

Standard 8.5-hour workday, including two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch

This position is safety-sensitive and part of a ramp class starting 11 / 10 / 2025

Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls from members, providers, and other healthcare professionals

Deliver exceptional customer service while guiding callers through the prior authorization process

Review clinical documentation to verify completeness and eligibility against established criteria

Accurately document all approvals and denials in a timely manner

Escalate complex clinical inquiries and judgment calls to the pharmacist as needed

Maintain compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a healthcare or call center environment

National Pharmacy Certification or State License preferred (in good standing)

Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attendance is mandatory for the full training period
