Travel Nurse Job Details Location : San Antonio, TX 78258 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Unit : Neuro Med / Surg & Telemetry Shift : 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 hours Scheduling : Every other weekend required Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360 - $1460 Number of Beds : 14 ICU, 20 Med / Surg Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 in ICU, 1 : 5 in Med / Surg Documentation System : Meditech Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted) BLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification required Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Med / Surg RN experience Meditech experience preferred Ability to float to other units as needed Strong attendance record Compliance with hospital dress code (Navy scrubs, clean and neat appearance, tattoos covered, no visible piercings except ears) Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in Neuro Med / Surg and Telemetry units Monitor and interpret telemetry data for clinical support Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient care accurately using Meditech Float to other nursing units as required Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including attendance and dress code Participate in ongoing nursing education and training Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in San Antonio, TX, and join our healthcare team dedicated to excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care.
